Very busy week

Didn’t do my usual weekend Squidooing and now I’ve got a client who needs a rush job on a big Choir Parts project (Hooray!). So I’ll be doing double blogging (including a super-sized lowest-ranked spotlight) next week.

But I guess I do need to blog about this one lens before Thanksgiving comes — The Alice’s Restaurant Massacree.

Lowest-ranked lens spotlight (#7)

Had a really busy weekend, so I’m just now getting to this.  I really love looking at what interesting things folks have written about.  So let’s take a look at some of the fabulous friends in my fan club and see what lovely lenses are lurking at the bottom of their lists.

The lowest-ranked lens for the Science Fiction Novels Cyberpunk gives a few chapters from one of his science fiction novels.  It’s about space tourism in the 23rd century.

Clouda9 gives us thoughts, readings, and some practical steps for self-improvement.

And my homegirl AlishaV invites us to explore some beautiful territory in her Southern California lensography.  Along with the listing of her SoCal lenses, she’s got a map and some great pictures here.

My current lowest-ranked lens is (once again) my fiction lensography.

Purple Star Acceptance Speech

AND A WINNER IS  .  .  .  JOAN HALL for “STINGING NETTLE”!

Wow, this thing is heavier than I expected.  Gee, what an incredible moment!  This is something I’ve dreamed of since . . . gosh, I don’t know how long.

I’d like to thank the angels for looking down over this lens.  And I want to thank everybody who inspired me to pursue my dream of becoming a Giant Squid.  And of course, thank you to the stinging nettle for being such a fascinating weed to write about.

If I can inspire just one person to freak out their family and friends by feeding them weeds, my purpose will have been accomplished.  Thank you so much, everybody!  Good night!
